The Fork in Their Tongues

Story: She had heard these words before; had heard the tone of the voices that speak through one of the forks in their tongues. She listened to the men in their tight uncomfortable clothes, and had listened enough times to know that there would be no meat, no buffalo, no hope.
"Beyond their flat voices and waving pens, the sun broke through the heavy sky and cast light onto the face of my Mother. I watched a small herd of buffalo light up and become spirit."

Medium: Ground Mineral Watercolour and Acrylic Paint on Synthetic Paper.

Signed original work with Certificate of Authenticity and story.
