The Culling Tears

Story: There was nothing to be done. Their dogs were shot, good sleds were broken. These strange people were mad and no straight thinking could be found in their actions. The children cried, the hunters could only watch. In the years to come, the tears of the children would haunt the land in the great coming of the pale people.

(A contemporary comment on the past shooting of the sled dogs in the far north.)

Medium: Ground Mineral Watercolour and Ink on Synthetic Paper.
